Jacksonville Commercial Electrician Project:
JTA Transportation Hub
February 27, 2020
The commercial electrical department of American Electrical Contracting is proud to have contributed to the success of the JTA Transportation Hub project in . The project covered 67,000 square feet.
The JTA facility is LEED certified and is one of the most energy efficient projects in the region.
Lights like the one below have daylight harvesting sensors. Notice the lights nearest the windows are dimmer. They are currently reclaiming daylight to save energy.
The daylight sensitive lighting has been installed throughout the building including like the hallway below. As the sun starts to set (or if clouds come over) the lights will gently adjust themselves to maintain optimal brightness. The adjustment is so gentle you barely notice the change.
The entire building uses high-efficiency LED lights. Conference rooms like the one below are wired for multi-zone lighting to provide the right level of lightning.
The lighting in the bathrooms is also LED and we worked closely with the designer to choose attractive, cost-efficient fixtures like the ones below.
When wiring a building like this, it is important that the work be orderly and easy to work on. That’s why we are meticulous with our work. Below is one of the central hubs for the building.
