Safety and Training

Our Rating is Second to None

American Electrical Contracting has one of the lowest EMR ratings in the industry (0.67 vs a national average of 1.0). Plus we have maintained a “violation free company” status for over 20 years. We know the importance of safety, for our people, your people and your business.

We Hold Safety to the Highest Standard

What does it take to maintain a “violation-free company” rating? It takes investment, the best training and a culture of discipline.

Every one of our managers, supervisors, field leaders, and foremen is OSHA 30 or 10 certified. Every employee is NFPA 70E trained and certified. Our foremen and superintendents are also required to complete CPR training every two years. But that’s not the whole picture. Because training alone doesn’t earn you one of the lowest EMR ratings in the industry.

We invest in every part of our business that influences safety. From dispatch technology and training that ensures our electricians have the right amount of time to do the job right, to investing in the right testing equipment and gear for every job. We use the highest standard of training to make sure that every truck has highly experienced electricians ready to solve any problem.

Safety = Time = Money

If you have not experienced the kind of delay and costs associated when an incident occurs on-site, be thankful. We are. American Electrical Contracting puts safety at the core of its values. Our entire team, not just our electricians, are NFPA 70E trained and certified. And that is just the beginning. Every manager, supervisor, field leader, and foreman is OSHA 30 or 10 certified. So your project goes off without incident.

We Save You Time and Money

When it comes to keeping your properties running smoothly, safety is a big factor. Whether you are overseeing residential or commercial properties, you don’t want to be slowed down by dealing with accidents or violations. That’s why we work hard to ensure there are none. How do we do it? Every person we employ, not just our electricians, are NFPA 70E trained and certified. Plus, every manager, supervisor, field leader, and foreman is OSHA 30 or 10 certified.

Training Done Right

We talk a lot about work being done right. For us, this starts with our training program. We employ more than a dozen master electricians and many journeyman electrician who supervise every truck we roll and every project we do. So when we say that every electrician we train goes through an apprenticeship program, you know they are learning from seasoned electricians. This means excellence in every repair or project we do.
